Why subscribe?

elizabeth, unlikely is a collection of my notes, essays and musings, crafted with care and hope that it will evolve into some type of living memoir. This weekly date with my creativity shares tiny bits of my life as a single mum, and as the writer/creator of an upcoming series about my life (cleverly also called elizabeth, unlikely). Consider this a private glimpse into both worlds.

I publish this newsletter once a week (on Tuesdays) though subscribers get an additional weekly post on Thursdays, with an audio-book version of both posts being released on Fridays (again, this is for subscribers-only). Subscribers also get access to the full archives of the newsletter, and will receive exclusive/early access content from the series.

What I like to write about…

Friendship, growing pains, my complicated faith, my even more complicated family, spinsterhood, motherhood, community, sensitivity, loneliness, pop culture, love, lust, the zeitgeist, feminism, films, tv, books...

I could go on, but why don’t you just try it out for a week to see if it’s a fit?

Join a tiny community that means a whole lot to me…
